I so damn suck at trying to learn digital drawing. I somehow make two steps forward and 10 back. I do not get it what brush I really should use...and how to adjust it right. How to overlay and smooth the colours...and what size a picture-working space should have for a good resolution.
I will not give up. Some day I will find out.

Photoshop Elements 8. Das war bei dem Wacom dabei. Dem Programm fehlen allerdings einige wichtige Tools im Gegensatz zu den Vollversionen. Das fällt bei normalen Comics kaum auf, beim Malen aber sofort. Außerdem hab ich da kein Vektor Tool.

Ah okay, ja stimmt. Ich benutz immernoch GIMP. Weil mir Photoshop an sich zu teuer ist. Sieht aber trotzdem gut aus :)

Mit Gimp komm ich nicht klar. DA gibt es Vektoren, aber ich raff das einfach nicht!

There are times I can't make sense of the world of digital artwork. My traditional art skills are really good, yet when I try to do a digital painting the shading of the line art digitally can take me forever. ^^; It's just a matter of playing around the different opacities of the airbrush tools. 5 percent works the best for shading, and it looks more natural.^^ Doing lots of layers can help make it look smoother. We all got to wrestle with our weak points to get even better at what we love to draw! =D

OH don't worry. I'm slowly experimenting with digital drawing tool. Traditional art for so many years spoiled me a bit. But it's always good to know we're not alone in the battle! I still think you do really good! :D

OOOOH doch. Ich hab mir schon so viele Tutorials angesehen...aber den Dreh krieg ich noch nicht so raus. Ich schaff es nicht, dass die Farben ineinander gehen,w enn ich den Ton verändere.

Ich würde auch viel lieber einen rauhen Stil malen...das sieht so toll aus...aber das ist ja noch schwerer. Da werden wohl noch Jahre ins Land gehen und vielleicht werd ich doch mal irgendwann einen Kurs besuchen oder so...
